We took the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, sparked by Martin Luther, affixing his 95 articles to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany as our theme

A range of floral displays depicted key figures of the Reformation in the 16th century to the present day:

Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, Zwingli, Calvin, Whitefield, Darwin, Spurgeon and, of course, Spurgeon were all featured.

A performance of "Elizabeth Carter - a woman of wit and wisdom", written by Gregory Holyoake, was staged In the Church Hall on Friday 27 October and very well received:
