A member of the Leadership Team, coordinates the newly formed Pastoral Care Team.
It is charged with devising and implementing a "network" of communication throughout the Fellowship, that ensures both prayer needs of individuals are gathered and remembered, and practical and physical needs are similarly responded to.
Currently, the Fellowship has been divided into small groups of between 6 – 8 people under an individual Shepherd/Shepherdess who is asked to take an interest in their "little flock" and ensure that pastoral needs identified, are shared with the Minister and others, as appropriate.
The Pastoral Care Team along with the leadership team and church meeting have grappled with the GDPR legislation to ensure compliance – respecting an individuals privacy where it is requested – in reviewing our church contacts, the church directory, and our ability to pray intentionally for the sick, needy and bereaved.
The existing ministries of Flower Distribution and that of Service Recording Distribution continue to be a blessing to all who receive them.
(Pastor regrets the inability to undertake more pastoral duties at this time due to his ongoing health issues and values the endeavours of the Pastoral Care Team in this regard.)
